it didn’t work on me. the same what happen to sulaiman. “i cannot upgrade from Ultimate to Ultimate.” can you help me out.

I have made the changes in “Cversion.ini” as well as the required change in regedit,but it still gives me the error that i cannot upgrade from Ultimate to Ultimate.
running win 7 ultimate,trying to to enterprise.
Any idea why?

Hi,
I upgraded my Vista Business edition to Windows 7 ultimate 6.1 build 7600 only to discover the key i have is for the Enterprise version, tried upgrading using the hack to no avail, i keep getting “Windows 7 Ultimate cannot be upgraded to Windows 7 N Enterprise (x86)” any hints?

On the final step of the install in gets stuck on the transferring file part. It stays like that after a day I restarted it and it said it was unsucssefully installed re installing your previous OS. Any ideas. Could it be the disk?

Hi, mine worked a bit different. I performed the steps above and upon installation I received an error message saying “Error installation, install.wim does not exist”

Then I only used the registry hack and still used my original Enterprise DVD and it worked.
