Thanks Sam, I’m pretty comfortable with the jQuery library, however I would love to take a programming class for OOP. I feel as though, while I can get the appropriate effect/affect (both terms apply), I’m sure I could write more optimized code. What sort of issues are you having on your site?

you must be very comfortable with js, i’m still having trouble fixing the menu and layout on my own page!

Hey, basically all I did was add some javascript code to the page content setting the default link in the fancy menu script. add something similar to this at the end of your content:


$("menu_home").removeClass("current");
$("menu_photos").removeClass("current");
$("menu_projects").removeClass("current");
$("menu_contact").removeClass("current");
$("menu_projects").addClass("current");

This is all javascript.
